Hey y’all! My name is Kathryn, but I go by Katie, and my family calls me Kate! I’m the owner of Kintsu Kate!
I’ve been told a lot over the past few years that I need to start a business, and never would I ever have thought it would be permanent jewelry and trucker hats. I am not a girly girl, and I’ve never been into the trends. But I love doing permanent jewelry and the patch bar, mostly because I love the smiles it brings.
When I’m not working you’ll find me watching football, basketball, or whatever show I’m bingeing that week! I love hanging out with my family, and going on vacations. I’m more of a beach girlie, but my time in Utah made me really appreciate the mountains.
“Kintsu Kate” is a nod to the Japanese art of “Kintsugi” where they take broken pottery and use gold to infuse it back together and make it whole and more beautiful for being broken. I am taking all my broken little pieces and using my gold to make this business beautiful, and I’d love for you to bring me your pieces and let’s make this world a more beautiful place.

Hi, I’m Corine “Cori” Tavarez—wife, mom of two, and part of the heart behind Kintsu Kate. Born and raised in North Carolina, I’ve always had a passion for connecting with people and creating meaningful experiences. As a permanent jewelry and trucker hat technician, I love bringing unique, personal touches to every piece I create.
I’m fluent in both English and Spanish (which I absolutely love!), and I believe in making every interaction warm and personal. When I’m not crafting custom jewelry or designing trucker hats, you’ll find me traveling, lost in a good book, or enjoying the beauty of nature. My two energetic Boston Terriers keep me on my toes, and helping others brings me so much joy.
Kintsu Kate is more than just a business—it’s a way to bring people together, celebrate special moments, and create lasting connections. I can’t wait to meet you and be part of your story!

Hi, I’m Emma King, and I’m so excited to be part of the Kintsu Kate team! I’m currently studying to become a cosmetologist because I love helping people feel beautiful and confident. Meeting new people and making genuine connections is something I truly enjoy, and I can’t wait to bring that same passion to permanent jewelry and trucker hats.
I’ve had a heart for creativity and hard work from a young age, and joining Kintsu Kate is the perfect way to combine both. I’m thrilled to be part of this journey and can’t wait to help you create something special!
